Our 12-Year Fig Balsamic Vinegar is the result of over a decade of rest and maturation. During this time, the extract of sun-drenched figs has married perfectly with the fine woody aromas of our barrel cellar. The result is a deep, dark, syrupy essence that captivates with its mild acidity and an almost chocolatey fruit richness. A single drop is enough to transform a simple dish into a culinary revelation.

This Fig Balsamic of traditional Austrian quality was reduced from pure fig juice and matured over 12 years in various wooden casks (oak, ash, chestnut, cherry). This entire batch was bottled at once, making it a limited vintage edition from the year 2004. Presented in an exclusive wooden box. Only a very small quantity is available!

Flavor Profile: Sweet and emphatically fruity with an intense woody note.

Usage: This “noble drop” should be used very sparingly to refine vegetables, cheese, carpaccio, strawberries, and vanilla ice cream.
